I have lived or traveled in most of the states in the western United States but currently live in Utah. I'll tell that Mormonism is almost inescapable to notice here, including billboards from moderate mormons offering help to women trapped in polygamist relationships. Since I live in Salt Lake, most Mormons here are fairly secular, with their activities not really varying greatly from other Americans. The one exception is that they the age of marriage seems to be waaay earlier than the average in other places I have lived. I also know people of my generation who have had arranged or pseudo-arranged marriages. Which is a fairly foreign concept in the rest of America.
I have also had the rather unique experience of hitchhiking through some of the most rural parts of Utah and Eastern Nevada, and being in contact with fudamentalist polygamist mormon compounds, which are essentially living off the grid and some of which I was warned would open fire on me if I intruded on them. Like most polygamists in the Islamic world, they keep their women undereducated and maintain ridgid control over the household. They also contribute nothing to society, and indeed many of them mooch off the government (hence all of us) by popping out kids and being officially 'unmarried.' It's kind of like having a tiny part of the middle east right here in the middle east.
Having said that, that video was kinda stupid, and the biggest danger from your average mormon is being bored to death listening to them.
