You seem to think the cuss words being used in responses to you are in place of good argument, If so, maybe you should read some of those responses again.

Yes, because you came here spouting bigotry and with a chip on your shoulder. You did not come here with an open mind looking for some reasonable dialog.
Quote:I am pretty sure you would get much better treatment if you went to a Catholic forum and declared you were an atheist looking for answers.
I have been banned from Christian forums for doing nothing more than responding to Christian claims and apologetics with logic and reasoned argument. Not once for cussing.
Which reminds me, so far you haven't made a single argument to support your beliefs. All you've done is open multiple threads aimed at insult.
For me to go to a Catholic forum 'looking for answers' would require the following;
1. For the claim that a god exists to meet its burden of proof with demonstrable evidence, reasoned argument and valid logic.
2. Support the claim that the god that does exist from step 1, is the god depicted in the bible.
3. Support the claim that Catholicism best describes the Biblical god over any of the other 33,000 Christian sects.
And the only answer I'd be looking for from Catholics is, "Why the hell are you guys worshiping the psychopathic, genocidal maniac god depicted in the Bible?".
Quote:However, carry on and do as you will. You are making it all the more easy for me to return to my Catholic faith, knowing it was the right way to go all along.
By 'right way' I take it you DON'T mean, that which can best be supported by demonstrable evidence and reasoned argument.
You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
