Hello fellow rational humans, I've been lurking here for a little while so I know a little about some of you already. I’m an atheist since fifteen brought up in a Christian home so as far as anyone in my family knows I’m just not very religious. The deception is for my mother whom is very very Christian and it would just upset her so.. I go to church with her a couple times a year and it makes her happy.

I do fancy myself a futurist so I’ll be bothering you with discussions on the things to come and how to deal from time to time amongst other subjects.

Hmmm... well, welcome fellow atheist! My story is extremely simliar, except my family is not EXTREMELY religious, and they don't go to church much at all anymore. Most of them are not aware of my status... and I've been atheist since, dang, maybe around year 2000 (i was about 9-10 area).

Enough about me, have fun with this, I certainly have, I joined a mere 1-2 days ago.
