You know, I really don't need to be lectured on civility by our local representative of an organization that...
1. Plunged Western Civilization into the Dark Ages, keeping it there for a thousand years.
2. Persecuted and exterminated Pagans and Jews
3. Led the Crusades
4. Tortured and burned to death heretics during the Inquisition
5. Hunted so-called "witches"
6. Amassed great wealth promoting superstition
7. Prevented the advance of knowledge at every turn, most famously with Galileo.
8. Brought its Old World horrors to the New World, massacring and forceably assimilating native people.
9. Sustained and perpetuated inequities in society, from the old world aristocracy to the subjugation of women.
10. Aided and abetted the Nazi regime prior to and during the second World War, the holocaust of which was the culmination of Catholic bigotry against Jews, gays and Gypsies, bigotry that had festered in Europe for nearly 2000 years.
11. Prevents the education of birth control, considering the spread of AIDS to be a lesser evil than the use of condoms.
12. Covers for and protects child-raping priests.
If there's an army of orcs in this world, it's your team, buddy.

Kind of like where we would be if we had to choose between Yahweh and Satan.
