Deuteronomy 23 : 2

RE: Deuteronomy 23 : 2
(October 8, 2012 at 11:44 pm)Godschild Wrote: That's the verse, and I would think that you could see it says to Christians, do not marry an unbeliever, not because it is sinful

Ds Wrote:Hold on a second. Did you miss the part where it referred to unbelief as 'wickedness'? ...continue

No I did not miss that part, actually I have known about it for a long time, why you have a problem with the way God views your life?

Godschild Wrote:because it will make a marriage much more difficult. It will also make it harder for you to be a witness, it will cause difficulty in raising children.
By the way the church is a NT community of believers, it has nothing to do with a place, the church meets in a building just like the Jews met in a building called the Temple or synagogue (which is defined a bringing together of).

Ds Wrote:So...don't marry people of other religions or they will interfere with you attempts to indoctrinate the kids. If god were real, it wouldn't matter if the parents brainwashed the kid from an early age or not; it would become apparent that god was real sooner or later. If god values belief over morals, then he might have a problem. If he valuse morals over belief, then he shouldn't care if people believe in him or not. He really shouldn't have even mentioned heaven or hell anyway. They bring up so many problems!

It actually said anyone who does not believe in Christ the Son of God as their savior, did you miss that part. It is the right of parents to raise their children in the way they see fit for them, be it Christian, atheist or of any of the religions of the world, at least in this country. I can say one thing for you, you are trying to have your cake and eat it too. So, who are you to tell God how things ought to be, Satan has found that to be fatal and he is by far smarter than you are. God values faith and belief so much because it leads to a better moral life, you must remember that God said that no one is good, he even meant Christians. Why, because the standard is God Himself, the only one who is perfect.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
