First of all, why should I take authority from something that doesn't exist? Provide evidence of his existence, then we can debate whether absolute power=do whatever you want. Also, about the bolded, no it doesn't.
According to scripture it is not my responsibility to prove God exist, nowhere in scripture can you find it is my obligation to prove God to you. Bet you did not know that, but now that you do, wonder why it was never written into scripture. You would think that if man had written the scriptures of his own accord it would have appeared in the thousands of years scripture was written.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
