Well... I don't hate religious people. All my family and most of my friends are religious believers and I can't even despise them. In the end: Even believing in myths is due to nature's own laws.
I hate only those who want to impose their own religious ideas and force the others to follow them.
(But sometimes when I am upset and disappointed I damn all of those don't use the neurons in their heads and be confident about themselves)
I am antithetistic but I don't 'hate religious people' either. Religious people annoy me, but I don't hate them (except, as you said, when they are trying to force their beliefs on others). I hate religion itself, and use antitheism (as in against theism) rather than antitheist (which might imply that I am against individual theists).
