Confession: I post on their forum semi-regularly.

That's fine with me as long as you understand a few things about me and, from what I've seen, the rest of this forum.

1) While we want the forum to feel comfortable, we aren't going to censor people in the name of making it a safe space. We will discuss topics like rape, misogyny, misandry, homophobia and classism and we don't do so exclusively from the "these-things-are-bad-m'kay?" perspective.

2) When somebody says something crazy or over the top or offensive, you can be damn sure other people will speak up about it. No, we won't silence you, but we'll let you know you're being stupid.

3) There are men here and white people here and Americans here and able bodied people here and straight people here and while none of their opinions are any more valid than the opinions of anyone else, their opinions are also not any less valid than the opinions of anyone else. A good statement is a good statement regardless of the privilege level of the person its coming from.
