@Moros, nothing new here. The GOP has shamelessly advocated double standards based on which party is in power.
GOP wins an election: "It's a mandate. We get what we want and you get to shut up!"
Dems win an election: "It's a call for bipartisanship. You need to still include us in decisions or you're a bunch of mean dictators."
GOP is in power: "Shut up, salute and support the president or you're a traitor. My god man, we're at war. Don't you dare even criticize our government."
Dems are in power: "Impeach him! Fraud! Conspiracies! Acorn stole the election! and he wasn't born here! Second amendment remedies! We came unarmed this time!"
GOP in power: "Deficits don't matter (so we get to do all the things we want)."
Dems in power: "We have to get spending under control! (so they can't do all the things they want)."
Now, I'll grant some of this is human nature. It's always the loser who wants a recount, etc. But Republicans take it to such an extreme as to be Orwellian. It's just amazing how they can without any sense of irony take the opposite positions as soon as power changes hand. One standard for Democrats, another for Republicans.
