They're all civil rights issues, and they're all corrections. You just happen to fear certain changes, so you must label the fight for those civil rights as an attempt to "overthrow our culture."
Your outdated views are falling by the wayside just as the views of those that fought the abolition of slavery, denied women the right to vote, and advocated the segregation of the races.
