I happen to believe that chart to be very misleading. Alaska has a very strong case for leaving the union, between oil, fishing, mining, and lumber... and because there are so few of them, the state even has a somewhat vocal 'independence' party (lol... http://www.akip.org/ ).

It's certainly big enough to be a nation Wink And it's return is higher than that of many countries. Can you imagine if it achieved nationhood? Immigration would go WILD. Wink
