Guns are easy to get across state lines.
With gaining a gun, you gain the capability to do acts that the gun is designed for -- ie kill. Doesn't matter if it is in self defense or premeditated, there is an intent to kill.
Show me the criminal intent inherent in the design/biology of weed, then you'll have an accurate example.

There is no criminal intent in owning a gun. However the government does a shitty job at keeping people from owning anything that is easily accessible and people want to have. Considering how many guns are already in the country, the idea of getting rid of them is about as realistic as keeping me away from internet porn.
