Another utterly stupid assumption, the only way to prevent people from shooting each other is by getting rid of weapons.
Speaking of stupid . . . if the government has weapons, people will still get shot. Also, you can replace armed police in your argument with civilians and have the same argument for the opposition. Do try harder, little kousdouche.
