Nope, I`m serious. I see no reason to dig into some weird fantasy of a possible goverment takeover to justify lesser firearm regulations.

I stick to statistics and fact, and the statistics clearly show that gun control and crime are not connected. Poverty is the main reason for crime. When doing crime preventation one should acknowlege that it is the reasons which lead to the crime being commited which should be fought and not the instrument used to commit the crime.

Capn, I have come to the conclusion that German doesn't have an actual opinion, but argues against anything because he likes to argue. You'll notice his opinion changes repeatedly in this thread and others, so do not waste your time. Sorry, Germans. Observation.

I would like to see where I changed my opinion simply out of the blue and not due to facts which proved me wrong! After all you said that you "observed" it and I guess since you might know the meaning of that word and the meaning of the word "conclusion" then you know that such a conclusion needs "evidence" to be backed up.

I have until now defended my position that I am againt total gun control and I dont find a single point where I abandoned that possition.
