I especially liked the fact that one of the women says that if the shooter only had a handgun, he would have only been able to kill two people, despite the fact that the worst school shooting in the US was carried out by a single guy with handguns.

Yep I was going to pretty much add the same thing as Penn, which is that mass shootings and deaths by assault weapons is very low anyway, and even if you do take away automatic and semiautomatic weapons, massacres will still take place using bolt-action rifles, shotguns and handguns. The public shouldn't have automatic or semiautomatic assault rifles, and taking them away is a step in the right direction, but the entire gun-culture in America needs to be addressed.
