Gun crime suddenly jumped by 40% in 2 years. The ban came about because of a school shooting, which as you'll be aware, is a very rare form of gun crime. There was no need to ban guns in order to reduce the rate of school shootings, especially when it was already so low.
All we did was leave innocent people defenseless. America should learn from all these examples. There is no doubt that gun crime is a problem in your country, but banning guns is simply not the answer. Better education and training is, as well as doing proper background checks on people.
