It seems my knowledge of English military tactics is far superior to Napoleons, but that was the problem with Napoleon he always underestimated the English.
I won't bother counting the number of wars the Brits began, with turmoil, humiliating losses and retreat the list is too long.
However as frankiej and I have reached this stage of the war, I think there is no problem it telling you where we are. So far It has run exactly on the same lines as the last English Scots war of seventeen forty five, our bonny prince has advanced to Brentwood, via Manchester, and on discovering from seeing Brentwood how awful a place it is, the Scots have called a council to decide that it would be much better if they gave up on the whole thing and went back to Scotland.
Now if there is any more insubordination in the ranks, Nap and Tibs you can expect quick promotion, just in time to take the blame for any further disasters.
Meanwhile we will await our bonny princes next move.
