The message has not survived contact with modern xtians....and ancient xtians pretty much sucked at it too.

They are a tribe with a dogma they think makes them special. There actually is nothing special about that.


True. Part of the problem is that a good message props itself up on its own merrits. Bad messages are the ones that don't get very far without supernatural backing.
