Not really. 2012_Da14 is still pretty small in the scheme of things, and it would have to score a direct hit on a city to do serious damage. The chances of that is pretty slim. Most likely it would enter atmosphere over water and blow up at high altitude, without being much noticed.
Asteroids would have to be several hundred meters across, 10 times the size and 1000 times the mass of 2012_da14 to be a very big problem. Such an asteroid would do a great deal of damage regardless of where it enters atmosphere.
