Its properties align with several emotional concepts of higher attachment and familial feelings, and manifests as violet energy. When a number of the Maltusians later settled on Oa to become the Guardians of the Universe, the females of their race took issue with the notion of abandoning emotion in favour of logic, and departed to eventually settle on the planet Zamaron, where they tuned themselves to love through star sapphire crystals.
