The significance of this statement has many levels, but one of my favorites is the fact that the "all-powerful" god of the bible couldn't even keep a non-believer from being "ordained of god" (which is something EVERY christian group claims when someone is made clergy) any more than he could remove him from that office.
The only thing stupider than christianity is the gullible dolts who sign up for it.
