An example of them being misleading is when we are certain we will win money at the casino. There's that gut feeling of "I just know I'll come out with more money".
According to Star Wars, Darth Vader is Luke's father. So what? Both are a true statement but neither can be said to reflect "reality" as we know it until the sources are proven as being a true reflection of reality. On one hand we have a movie which is fictional and on the other... well, that's for you to show me.
I've been discussing with Drich about the Christian equivalent of this. We have two propositions that say the same thing about different gods. You need more to prove yourself than merely state something written in the Qu'ran.
The whole of South America is mostly Catholic because of the people who settled down. So what?
Claims as simple as these hold no weight to them because you're assuming too many things. Prove to me first that the Qu'ran is the true Holy book out of all of them.
