are you communist?

I have a question: are any communist nations today truly communist? As in, they all have very capitalistic aspects to them, don't they?

I think it's fair to say that none of the communist regimes were ever communist in a Marxist sense. Cuba is maybe the closest, with strict wage controls and a highly centralized economy. Of course they have exceptions too, more in the last ten years.

I don't say this as someone who think that communism is a good idea that just hasn't been implemented right. I think communism is an unimplementable idea. We've seen it try and fail totally often enough to know that by now, at the expense of millions of lives.
