Well probably because like I wrote in my text religion isn't really a lot represented here. I mean if I would go to streets and ask from like 1000 people for example that "Do you believe in Evolution?" I'm pretty sure that really like everyone would say "Of course" or something like that. Like tops 5-10 people would say no.

And then if I would ask from 1000 people here(randomly at street) like "Do you believe in Bible literally?" I also would be pretty sure that under 10 people would say yes.

I mean that's how it is here. VERY few people believe in God and vast(is that how it's written?) majority of people who do, don't believe in any bible etc. literally or even something remotely close to that.

That's what happens when your educating system is one of best in the world.. Smile And overall I think it would be pretty accurate to say that very conservative Finn would go as mildly liberal american.

I'm pretty happy about how religion is in Finland.
-Teaching of it in school are very good by actual teachers, there aren't like preacher teaching(even tho I would say that there is too much of it as courses and so on when you compare it to for example health knowledge).
-Anyways religion doesn't have a word in politics here(we just have fucked up politics for other reasons ^^).
-Attitudes towards it by non-believers and attitudes by religious are generally good.
-There generally isn't any doubt to very clear science stuff like Evolution.
-And just pointing out that there is actually big part of people also who don't even care. They don't really take religion seriously and well if they don't work at science or anything it have no effect to their lives. So basically they are atheists without probably knowing it.
