Well there is a lot of problems within Quran.

I recall from Robert Spencer's "Did Mohammed Exist" that one of the reasons for that is that 20% of the korean doesn't make any sense...in the sense that it is gibberish. Spencer's reason for that is that originally it was a Syriac text.

From the 7th century onwards, Syriac gave way to Arabic as the spoken language of the region.

In any case, if you had an Italian text like Dante and tried to read it as medieval Spanish you would get some things that made sense and some that made no sense at all.
