Me: Well, the pictures can only show you what is front of the lens. Being in the physical presence of the cayon is completely different, the landscape goes on and on in every direction, there is almost a sense of being enveloped by the scale of the scenery.
You: meh, I still can't see it, from what you've said nor to the pictures you have. I've never experienced anything like what you are describing, so it can not exist.
Me: Then you have to go, I'll tell you what I will sponser your trip if you simply X/Y/Z. You will be amazed!
You: Meh, no point, because you can't describe the grand caynon in such vivid detail it allows me to experience something I have never experienced before, going there and experiencing it myself will do nothing for me.
Me: That is why I want to help you go there so you can experience it yourself. Why not experience what is in question rather than closing your mind to it before you even know what you are talking about?
