What you think might be a sweeping majority might end up becoming something split 50/50. I, for one, am not comfortable stating anything about majorities, sweeping or otherwise, while the numbers are only just starting to get reported from men.Uh, no.
1 out of every 6 women is a victim of rape or attempted rape in her lifetime. By contrast, only 3% of men have been victims (and the perpetrators of these rapes are overwhelmingly male). So actual the rate at which women rape would have to be astronomically higher than the rate at which they are reported.
Women in our culture are not supposed to be as desperate for sex as men are. They are supposed to be the ones that shut everything down. It's not considered part of a female's nature to be aggressive about sex as it is considered part of a male's. The culture does not support female rapists. I'm not saying they don't exist, they're just going to be very rare.
