Sign in Quran

hello there, i am in all sudden feel like to ask :

what kind of sign or proof would you like/expect to see in holy book like Quran to make you believe in God..

p / s : i am new, this question might have been raised before. If it is, then I am sorry.

I'm glad that you phrased the question that way, rather than the normal Muslim tendency to assert that there is science hidden in the Qu'ran. I would expect science that isn't 'hidden' if I were to accept it as miraculous. I've always posited that if a diagram for a steam engine or similar technology was in the Qu'ran, that would be good enough for me. I've always been told by Muslims that it's an outrageous and irrational demand. Really??? Your omnipotent God can't put a single useful piece of technological information in his book? He is supposed to be omnipotent. Muslims will repeat that God is all powerful, but never think about how that would actually apply if he were real.
