RE: 1984 & A/S/K revisited

Well, -somebody- has to point out the gruesome side of this omnifiction. I think that most people who believe in this trash like to imagine their spirits using their superpowers for good (making rainbows or some such nonsense)- but this one, this superpower-is fucking ghoulish. If they want it, I think they should at least own it.
Case in point, GC's god -is not- present in those places. He just likes to use the word omnipresent, I doubt he'll be putting his god anywhere I might dream up (and to be blunt - that was just warmup - I can imagine worse...and god must be here, in my imagination as well....along with being in the minds of every sadist and nutbull. He was in Dahmers freezer, that's for damned sure, and on his knife when he made his fillets, and on his tongue when he ate his meal. God rode the wave of pleasure and sensation with every bite, like a particularly complacent partner to every act. A voyeur, sure, but much - much worse.)
The very simple reason that GC's god is not in any of those places is that GC is (presumably) not in those places. God, as always, is a puppet. An extension of ones self. Hates what GC hates, likes wat GC likes. Does what GC would do, refrains from what he would not. God is incapable of conceiving of or doing anything that GC himself is incapable of doing or conceiving of.
