Yes, there's a place called hell, it's for all who have sin that's not forgiven. Hell has nothing to do with good works done or not done. Hell is a separation of those that have sin not forgiven, from God and the perfect sinless new creation and those who chose to be a part of what God offered.
I do not see hell as a place of torment by fire, hell is described as a dark place. Hell fire is the worst thing we can imagine, being without God's love is actually far worse than hell's fire, it's not something we can comprehend because until the judgement no one could understand what it's like to be without His love. The torment that scriptures speak of is God allowing people who did not want to be a part of God's future plan to suffer over their choice. They will get to rant, rave, and curse in anger at God, forever and ever, they lived their lives in denial of God, and they will live forever knowing that God is real, His promises are true, and those that chose Christ are living in a true Paradise. Before anyone ask how will God deal with those who did not get a chance to hear of Christ, all I can say, it will be on an individual bases of their lives and what they actually believe.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
