Atheism, what led you?

Whether your an atheist or agnostic etc, what led you to what you believe in today? Also, why do you believe in what you believe in?

I am an agnostic atheist.

I do not claim to know, with absolute certainty, that a god does not exist. Thus, I am agnostic.

I disbelieve that a god exists. Thus, I am an atheist.

My atheism is an outgrowth of my skepticism. When I apply the same level of critical thinking and scrutiny to the god claim as to other supernatural claims, there is no justification to believe it.

I just want to know where the, "there is no evidence of God," is coming from? I asked this question, on this forum, hoping to get a reasonable answer. Maybe he isn't loving, but a asshole instead. Still, I want some answers.
