Nothing wrong with your comment.
The only thing missing is that the sooner you unlock this potential and the sooner you can enjoy it.
Quote:The Buddha never spoke of God. That wasn't what he was about. He had found a way to enlightenment and shared it with whoever was interested.
Buddha was practicing tantric meditation which ultimately lead to the merging into the ocean of cosmic consciousness (become one with God).
So whether he was talking about God or not that means nothing.
Whether i tell my son that by studying he will become a doctor or whether i tell him that by studying he will be in a better position does not make any difference.
The only important thing is to do something to improve ourselves, all the rest is superfluous.
Quote:There are many paths to the top of the mountain, but when we get there we are all standing on the same peak.'
True.
Quote:It is not on/in some other plane and it has nothing to do with any Celestial Being. It's within us. We just have to look.
True again.
This is just what i am saying, the treasure is within not outside.
The problem is however not to get fooled by the appearances.
When the moon reflect her image on a lake you can see a myriad of moons but the moon is only one.
At the same time people see so many differences when they look in this material world but the reality is only one.
When one realize this truth then he will realize that God is him-her.
Quote:pocaracas.............Some people require the "god proxy" to get there, you know?
When you feel that the radius that separate you from him reduce more and more then you can not deny his existence.
When a drop of water is going to merge into the ocean to be one with it then is not possible anymore to separate the two.
Quote:whateverist............Enrico is there any chance that you have become just a little too concrete and literal in what you say? At best what you or anyone else has to say about human potential amounts to a finger pointing. If I see nothing where you are point, perhaps it is my failing or perhaps it is yours. Don't know. But I am not looking for 'more'.
Theory give you maybe 0000.1%, practice give you 99.999% so when you say that by looking you see nothing that does not surprising me.
It is normal so don't get too upset about it.
My yoga is 0000.1% theory and 99.999% practice.
It is when you do something that you achieve things not when you dream about it.
