I have a '45 thompson that might best be considered an "assault weapon." It is so danged dangerous I can't use it anymore and keep ammo far away from it. The stupid thing's trigger is so hair light that it has a mind of it's own to fire. And it doesn't have a safety.

I keep it in my closet so that a burgler will shoot himself with it.
