Would you say that beliefs are preached about and logic is taught? Atheism is not a belief, its all that remains after exersising the ability to apply logic to theism that is held as true simply because it is preached. You don't preach atheism anymore than u would teach A-celestial-teapotism. The non sensical part I was referring to was the "who's critical thinking" part. Critical thinking (in at least as I surmise) is the process of applying logic to anything in order to determine its validity of it apart from opinion. So its a non-subjective filtering process through which ALL things can be measured. Why on earth would you not want your kids to know how to be a critical thinker?
If you do not, and fallaciously reflect upon a belief to derive your conclusion and deem it as valid, you were not critically thinking.
There's really no room for misinterpretation here. It's a way to see THROUGH propaganda and weigh claims on their merit ALONE. So what exactly are you suggesting is wrong about learning to be a critical thinker, having understood that there is only one way to do it properly?

Are you kidding, your not kin to that Bush fellow are you. let me spell it out for you Teachers within an education system should not impose a system of belief/religion on their students. Atheism being preached in schools is no differant than catholicism being preached in schools because its a form of indoctrination and weather you agree or not is besides the point .To simplify my point, If you apply logic to a belief properly to derive a valid conclusion, then you are critically thinking.
