I don't demand the death penalty because of the Qur'an. Rather, I want to see the death penalty because I don't believe a murderer should have a second chance. That is my personal opinion. I never invoke religion in any debate on public legislation, it is not correct to do that. Groups like the BNP obviously see it different, they invoke Christianity to support the death penalty.
