I felt the same way when Todd Akin made his stupid "legitimate rape" comment. I could point to Missouri as the latest backward state and temporarily forget about the pro-creationist policies of our past state school board and the WBC idiots.

We're batting a double hitter in the Senate with Mitch "The-Turtle-Man" McConnell and Rand "has-the-courage-to-speak-in-front-of-black-people" Paul, we've got the Creation Museum AND the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and we're a state so blood-red that all the major cable news stations have their computer election maps with Kentucky physically painted red, we're such a foregone conclusion.
