Semantics?
How many states legally recognize with all the rights and benefits thereof homosexual marriage in the United States of America?
5 or 6? I know it's not legal here in Texas. Things that are not legal are illegal. If you don't agree with that last sentence please tell me the word that is the opposite of legal. No, we don't dictate fines or jail terms for homosexuals engaging in a wedding ceremony. We just ignore it and deny them equal rights.
Including death and social security benefits to minors who are children of the deceased that were not the biological parent of the minor.
Including veteran benefits that deceased Veterans can pass on to their children such as GI Bill benefits like college funds, healthcare, etc.
Second class citizens. Public dissaproval and outright disgust.
If this is ok for us to treat our own lawfully abiding citizens like this in America then you must agree with the Jim Crow laws and segregation for African Americans. Oh, are you offended by that accusation? Now you know how we feel about your trying to treat homosexuals in a similar status.
