Anti-gay side: Homosexuality is unnatural, and therefore should not be allowed.
Pro-gay side: Homosexuality is natural being exhibited in other species, and therefore should be allowed.
It's a shitty debate started by the anti-gay side, and defended absolutely horribly by the pro-gay side. First off, is homosexuality unnatural? Yes. Lets face facts here, in the context of our human biology being gay is not natural. But the mistake that both sides have made here is that 'Natural' = 'Good'. Why does homosexuality have to be defended as natural? There are plenty of unnatural things we do in our every day life and we don't consider them as bad. With genetically modified foods my corn flakes sure as hell ain't natural. I smoke butts and those sure ain't natural. Last year I took a flight with some friends down to Florida, and may I ask, what is more unnatural than human flight? We are overall an unnatural species, myself included.
Moving on to the pro-gay side with their animal defense, that homosexuality is present in other animals and should therefore be considered natural. My dog licks his own asshole.....we shouldn't be looking towards animals for guidance on issues of morality. And further, animals fucking kill each other! Would it be natural for me to kill people because it's present in nature as well?
They are both just...very...shitty...arguments.
