Hey, if I lived back then I'd still be cryin for that mammoth
I'd eat the meat, but I'd be sad. Just like I am for chickens (I prefer not to eat cows because they have more emotional evolutionary processes). I'd be sad back then too if all they killed such a massive wondrous creature for, was its ivory tusks. I know the people probably salvaged as much as they could, but in the end, that animal probably went down solely because some man thought it would make a good fashion statement. Just cuz ivory carvings survived doesn''t mean I'm happy they exist in the first place. I think humans should respect other animals on this planet with reverence.

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
