I've been an atheist all my life, or more, I haven't had any faith. Being brought up in a family that does not believe in God that's hardly surprising.
It wasn't really until about a year ago that I started to become more interested in religion etc.. and discovered that I'd be classed as an "atheist", though I prefer "agnostic atheist" since I can't prove God doesn't exist, but at the same time, I'm as certain God doesn't exist as I am Santa and Unicorns don't exist.
I've taken to twitter in recent months and have been involved in many debates with mostly Christians and I've come to realise that whilst some can be logicial, others are completely and utterly dumbfounded by what atheism actually is, many calling it a religion or belief system!
