How the south is LESS prejudice because "black folk" were like family to their owners. How we are all prejudice. Then she talks about her black friend, calls him as black as the board behind her. Then calls him onstage and says we can't see you against that dark board.

I have talked to a WWII vet. My great-grandpa was one. He pasted away when I was little, but my great-grandmothers (one pasted last summer) are a huge part of my life. If I ever heard anything like that from them, I would have called them out on the spot. I rarely did. Just because they are from a different time, doesn't make it acceptable, especially form someone who is in a spotlight.
