Rahul, I can tell you some stories... I have said I come from a multi-racial family. But when I say that I really mean it. My parents, are Caucasian of European and Native american descent. However, my brother is African american and my sister is Puerto Rican. My Aunt is Vietnamese. My uncle is Chinese, my other aunt is Mexican. Just to name a few.
While I was in High School, I got in 2 fights after some boys decided they didn't like my family. My principle told me there was nothing he could do. I was told my kids they couldn't be friends with me. I went home with one friend to find klan stuff in the living room. There is no excuse. Sure, she is saying there things because she doesn't understand why they are wrong. That requires education, ignorance is no excuse either. All racist people are ignorant. They don't understand that it is wrong, or why.
