Debating whether to buy an air conditioner or not ($400-500). When it gets above 75°, my brain slows down to a crawl and I feel all depressed. Fortunately, it's only bad 2-6 weeks out of the year. I grew up next to a lake, sheltered by a hillside, so it was wet and cool all year round. Moved here many years ago. I've lived with fans but no A/C for 18 years, wondering whether to go one more.
