To be honest with you, I didn't feel like a slave when FEMA helped save the lives of members of my family who were living in Long Beach (NY) during Hurricane Sandy. And I certainly didn't feel like a slave when FEMA dispatched a dozen or so workers to help me and others search and rescue other people around Long Beach and provide food and water to them.

In fact, they were a huge-ass help. Didn't really feel like they were slave masters to me. Unpopular opinion, I guess?

What have your feelings got to do with logic? Isn't that what religious people say? 'God makes me feel good so it is true'. 'Government makes me feel good so it is true'.

Also you provided no reason or evidence for your claim... so you may as well be talking to yourself right now.

....what? It's not an example of purely my feelings. It's an example of how useful and helpful the government can be. What's with the religion comparison?
