Yeah, the drink episode happened months ago, I had him help clean up. Explained the rule about no food or drinks around the laptop. But the thing just up and died way later. Can't do anything about it now (discipline-wise) I don't think he even remembers, and that wouldn't be fair.
I got spankings as a kid... up until I turned to my mom and said in the nastiest voice my 6 year old self could muster, "That doesn't hurt!" She stopped spanking me at that point, though I did get a couple of face slaps into my teenage years... I do think they were somewhat deserved though

Oh, I'm sure he would be less than happy if I took Kirby away... Kind of scared to actually...
