It is a thought experiment. So I am stipulating that the discovery that her husband didn't exist/never loved her etc - will distress her enormously. It is conceivable. So, what would be the right thing to do?
I personally think if I had the power to read minds and tell the future and I was at the death bed of this woman then I wouldn't tell her about her husband cheating. It would be right so that she doesn't get upset before she dies.
