And necessary. If she is so deluded, she has serious problems and needs serious help. Telling her the truth is a necessary part of that.

It wouldn't be immoral to tell someone the truth, if it is your intention to dispel a misconception. We're imperfect, we humans; sometimes doing the right thing involves tough love.
