Here in Canada millions are being spent to make sure kids learn about he holocaust. Even though 10 years ago I was going through all the school and we learned about the capital H holocaust every single year. Over and over. Not Canada's role in the war, not any other genocide, only the Jewish holocaust.

That is sad indeed as Canada did have a great role in the second world war. Also their decision not to join the US in Vietnam and Iraq was a good decision in my opinion. The doesn't mean that the Holocaust should not be taught though, just not exclusively.

But holocaust denier is like Climate denier. It is a piece of mindfuck propaganda speech. Very few people actully deny the holocaust, but a lot of people have questions about some of the logistics and numbers.

The thing is, you can check the numbers and they do add up. The German kept very good records when it came to deportations and time schedules. You can check it out, and even with a 50% error margin the numbers would be staggering. There is no way the error margin is 50%, but even if I granted that, you would still be talking about 3 million people dying. So what does questioning numbers actually do in this case?

But that is equated now, so either you listen with your head bowed and don't ask any questions or you are denying the holocaust.

All deniers do is stick their fingers in their ears and go "I can't hear you, I can't hear you" when presented with the facts. You may try to make it show as if they are "merely skeptical" but that fact is that I've discussed with these assholes long enough to know that all they want to do is downplay the anti-Semitic tendencies of Europe en central asia.
