Works both ways, there is certainly a double standard not only in society but on this thread as well where black on white racism is almost completely overlooked and shrugged off as though it isn't a problem or simply doesn't happen. I don't think anyone is claiming that it is on the same level or even comparable considering the oppression black people have faced throughout history and routinely do every day no doubt, but whites can be victims of racism as well, and it shouldn't be shrugged off the same way as you just did. It is hypocritical to make a massive deal about blacks being victimised but when someone gives an example of a white person receiving racial abuse, it's a sarcastic 'big fucking deal'.
