That was one school, not the entire south. Now I could go online right now, and I'm pretty sure I could find one example as well of Nazis still in Germany. Does that mean that Nazis are still a prevalent in Germany?
I just thought of it as the most disturbing example.
And no, you would not find it in Germany, certainly not in a public school.
Actualy, inciting race hatred is a punishable offense here.
Anyway, if you want some other links, here you go:

And is something like this really only an exception:

I got all of this by simply googling: "Is the south still racist?"
If you are not satisfied with this stuff I just put together I will search again, but I am pritty sure that the image of the racist south is a correct one.
Now to German statistics:
http://www.adl.org/press-center/press-re...itism.html
As expected the catholic conservative part of Europe is the most antisemetic place in Europe, with Spain havin a scary 60 to 70% of the population showing antisemetic tendecies. whilest Germany is at 20%.
Poland at 50 to 60%, France at 30 to 40% and Hungary at 70%.
In conclusion, the country which is responsible for the shoa and bares the responsiblity, has significantly lesser antisemitism than it use to have and took the task of learning from history serious.
Now did the south take that task serious aswell?!
